South Seattle College Teams up with Daimler Trucks to Offer Students Online Training & Certifications

South Seattle College’s Diesel & Heavy Equipment Technology program has signed a partnership with Portland-based heavy-duty truck manufacturer Daimler Trucks North America (DNTA) to become part of Daimler’s Get Ahead program. Through Get Ahead, students now have access to DTNA’s web-based training modules so they can earn credits toward certifications required to work in Daimler’s service network. Public Notice of NWCCU Visit

South Seattle College to conduct reaccreditation evaluation, seeks public comment

The Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) will conduct a site visit on the campus of South Seattle College, April 24-26, 2019.  The purpose of this visit is to perform a comprehensive evaluation of the College.  NWCCU reviews institutions on a seven-year accreditation cycle.  Accreditation by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) represents the Commission’s judgement that an institution is satisfactorily achieving its mission and educational purposes and that it meets or exceeds NWCCU standards of quality and effectiveness.
